Wasting the Day

Yesterday was a rainy, cold, mucky day here in Rochester, NY. My husband took the kids out running errands so I could spend my time writing. Although, they were gone for a few hours, I can’t put a finger on what exactly I did while they were gone. I know I sat at the computer for a while and then wandered into the kitchen for a late lunch (I ate in front of the computer). I muddled through some revisions of two picture books, but I don’t feel like I accomplished much at all.

So, my theory is that my brain got sucked into a time warp that ate two and a half hours of my life, while my body idly sat by and watched it all happen.

Novels in Revision:

I'm currently revising a few things. I've polished a few picture books, and they are stewing for a bit.
